Sub-Cut (Subcutaneous) Training

Our Sub-Cut (Subcutaneous) Training will provide learners, especially healthcare and social care professionals, with the skills, knowledge, and techniques how to use a subcutaneous injection to administer a range of medications. Our learners will understand what a subcutaneous injection is and the different types of medications administered using this method. We will discuss your responsibilities and requirements when administering medication via subcutaneous injection and outline the recommended procedure to follow.  Our learners will learn about side effects and adverse reactions, and their role in recognising and responding to these events to ensure the safety and well-being of the individual.

The training is provided by a registered and qualified nurse.
