Pronouncement of Expected Death by Registered Nurses (PEDRN)

Our Pronouncement of Expected Death by Registered Nurses (PEDRN) Training is for Nurses only, as the policy only allows registered nurses to pronounce death in specific circumstances, particularly in designated services like palliative care and nursing-led services. Our training will be in adherence with the HSE and HIQA guidelines. Which will be adhered to and covered during this training with the end-of-life procedure and best practice.

The training is provided by a registered and qualified nurse.
